Attire: Semiformal. Ladies, it is recommended that you wear wedge heels, or flats, for the ceremony as the site is grassy. However, the reception area is paved.
OUR STORY
Charlie & Charlotte both attended Denison University for their undergrad studies. During the fall of 2009, some of Charlotte's rugby teammates were dating some of Charlie's fraternity brothers. These wonderful souls had the best intentions of setting up Charlotte and Charlie, however, they were not able to actually bring the two together. Eventually after some time, having grown impatient, Charlie decided to take matters into his own hands and sent Charlotte a message on Facebook...
Charlie Duggan
Hey Charlotte, I don't know you and you don't know me, but a lot of people have told me that I should know you!
From there the two would go on their first date to look at the Christmas lights at the Columbus Zoo, quickly falling for each other. Fast-forward to December 20, 2015...while celebrating their 6 year anniversary at the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights, Charlie proposed to Charlotte in front of all of their family and friends. She was delighted to say "yes," even though he didn't technically say the words "Will you marry me?"

Take Exit 74A US 27 toward Alexandria
Continue on Alexandria Pike for 1 mi.
Turn left on KY-1998 E & travel 2.2 mi

Travel 8.6 mi & destination will be on the LEFT
There is ample parking at the Inn should you choose to drive. Shuttle services will also be provided via Executive Transportation from the Rivercenter Marriott (110 W. Rivercenter Blvd., Covington, KY) to the ceremony site. Pick-up times are listed below:
4:15pm (2 shuttles)

4:45pm (1 shuttle)
A return service from the reception back to the Marriott will also be provided.

Brittany VanHoose, Matron of Honor
Brittany is Charlotte's beautiful and hilarious older sister. She is an incredible nurse, loves to partake in Sunday Fundays, & is one of the most generous people on the planet. Upon meeting Brittany, you will quickly learn that she can take any situation and transform it into an amazingly fun adventure.
Alana Giordano, Maid of Honor
Alana & Charlotte met their freshman year of college and quickly became best friends. They have shared many memories together, from playing rugby, to getting sunburnt on the beaches of Mexico, to many a night spent dancing away. You will find that her smile is almost as big as her heart. She has been there every step of the way for Charlie & Charlotte and even helped introduce the two!
Lauren Young, Bridesmaid
Lauren & Charlotte have been friends since 1st grade back when Lauren was convinced Charlotte had red hair. Together the two would put on hundreds of skits, prepare pancake breakfasts a'plenty, and even go to International Science Fair together. She is an incredible friend, athlete, designer, and world-traveler with a whole lot of heart and a fun-loving spirit!
Julie Hoath, Bridesmaid
Growing up Julie & Charlotte lived right down the road from each other, but didn't officially meet until 2nd grade. Bonding over a mutual love of Barbies and sour candy, the two became fast friends. Julie loves spending time on the lake and enjoying delicious Thai food. She has a delightful sense of humor and a giving heart for helping those in need.
Breanna Rankin, Bridesmaid
Breanna & Charlotte met freshman year of college when they became Theta sisters and both ended up in the same "family". She is the perfect combo of sweet + sassy and was the first person to convince Charlotte that country music is actually pretty great! From party-hopping across the hill, to snuggling over a bowl of stovetop popcorn, these two have had a lot of wonderful times together.
Maddie Murray, Bridesmaid
Maddie & Charlotte met their sophomore year at Denison when Maddie became Charlotte's Theta "Twin" sister. With a mutual love of taking goofy photos, having heart-to-heart chats, and a shared enjoyment of all things cat-related, these two have no shortage of wonderful memories together. #TwinKATs forever!
Melanie Wehmeyer, Bridesmaid
Melanie & Charlotte met while working for the Boy Scouts and soon after learned that they were neighbors. Known to Charlotte as either Merner, or MelWeh, the two bonded over their love of happy hours, pretzels, and silly snapchats. She is one of the most thoughtful people you will ever meet and always gives 110% to whatever she is doing.
Dan Duggan, Best Man
Charlie has known Dan Duggan since the day Dan was born. Dan is a hip, cool, happenin' dude living in the Brooklyn neighborhood, Bushwick. Pensive, but well spoken, Dan is also one of the friendliest people in Charlie's life, and will put a smile on everyone's face.
Ben Turner, Best Man
Charlie met Ben their freshman year while attending Denison University, and the two became friends while struggling to learn Deutsche in Herr Baker's German 100. After Ben joined Beta, the two became even better friends, enjoying late nights whether over a beer, discussing the latest issue in science, the best upcoming video game, or a classic episode of Futurama. Now working for the Jim Beam Distillery, Ben never fails to provide Charlie and Charlotte with the hookup for drinks and good times alike!
Jeff Danziger, Groomsman
A wise sage to Charlie and many of his fraternity brothers, Jeff Danziger is one of the most helpful people in Charlie's life. Jeff is always willing to offer useful advice, including when not to take life so seriously.
Dan Matyas, Groomsman
Charlie met Dan Matyas on Bid Day at Denison University their freshman year, and the two have been close friends ever since. Never one to turn down a natural beer of sorts, Dan is perhaps the only person who dresses better than Charlie on a regular basis.
Will Rumford, Groomsman
Will and Charlie became fraternity brothers in April 2009, but their friendship has lasted longer than that, having met each other the first few weekends on campus. Charlie and Will held each other accountable as roommates to make sure that the other would get enough sleep between all-nighters and Madden and FIFA tournaments.
Patrick Collins, Groomsman
Whether it's talking politics, business, or sports, Charlie can always count on Patrick for a good discussion over a burger and a cold beer at Arthur's in Hyde Park. On the weekends, Charlie can often be found trying to attempt to keep up with Patrick on the links.
Justin Croop, Groomsman
Charlie met Justin after moving to Cincinnati, and quickly, Justin has become one of Charlie's good buddies. When he isn't helping to design new technologies or implement new systems as an engineer, Justin can be found trying the best new craft beer, or listening to some great vinyl music.
